On April 10th and 11th, SFFMA's Certification Board met to discuss the current state of our volunteer firefighter certification program and the possible future of the program. After much review and discussion of the program, the following position statement was created.

The Certification Board will continue to work on the program in the coming months to improve the program for the firefighters of Texas.
