SB 254, the fuel tax exemption bill, passed the Senate early this afternoon (Thursday, April 16, 2009), without the Carona or any other amendement. It’s on to the House!

SB 254 which is the fuel tax exemption bill was voted out of Senate Finance Committee this morning (Thursday, April 09, 2009). It is now headed to Senate Calendars and hopefully to the floor for vote. Each and every member of the SFFMA who made calls and contacts with Senate Finance needs to pat themselves on the back. It is only because of the numbers of calls and contacts that this committee got from the fire service that this bill was voted out of committee. The system works and you made it work.
