Henry Perry, President
Henry Perry serves as the President of the SFFMA.
He also recently retired as as the Fire Chief of Bastrop Fire Department.
Harvie Cheshire, 1st Vice President
Harvie Cheshire serves as the 1st vice president of the SFFMA.
He is also the training manager for the annual schools at the Emergency
Services Training Institute at TEEX, the deputy chief and fire marshal of
Madisonville VFD, and the Madison County fire marshal.
Mike Richardson, 2nd Vice President
Mike Richardson serves as the 2nd vice president of the SFFMA.
He also currently serving as the Fire Chief of Decatur Fire Department.
Tim Smith, 3rd Vice President
Tim Smith serves as the 3rd vice president of the SFFMA.
He is also currently serving as the Fire Chief of West Carlisle Fire/EMS.
Richard Van Winkle, 4th Vice President
Richard Van Winkle serves as the 4th vice president of the SFFMA.
He is also currently serving as the Fire Chief of Alvarado FD.
Joe Ondrasek, Secretary
Joe Ondrasek serves as the secretary of the SFFMA. Ondrasek also serves
as the Fire Chief of the Brazos County Precinct 4 Fire Department and as
battalion chief of the Bryan Fire Department.
F. Jim White, Asst. Secretary
F. Jim White serves as the assistant secretary of the SFFMA. He is also
the Fire Chief for the Overton Fire Department, retired Fire Marshal and Rescue Chief.
Ben Kennedy, Chaplain
Ben Kennedy serves as the chaplain of the SFFMA. He also serves as the
regional coordinator for region 5 of the Emergency Services Training
Institute at TEEX.
Paul Hamilton, Immediate Past President
Paul Hamilton serves as the immediate past president of the SFFMA.
He also serves as a volunteer firefighter for Potter County Fire/Rescue.
Rayford Gibson, Parliamentarian
Rayford Gibson serves at the Fire Chief of the Tatum Fire Department.
He has been a member at Tatum for 32 years.
He is retired but still conducts classes as a part-time instructor with the Texas
A&M Engineering Extension Service.
Ashlynn Wobus, Mascot
Ashlynn Wobus serves as the Mascot of the SFFMA.
Ashlynn also served as a Mascot of the Guadalupe District.
Chris Barron, Executive Director
Chris Barron serves as the executive director for the association where he is
responsible for researching, negotiating and implementing membership
benefits, forming strategic partnerships and alliances, and providing testimony
in the state and national legislature. Barron also serves as the Fire Chief of
Travis County ESD #5.
